Katsudon is a super simple and tasty dish to make when you have leftover tonkatsu or chicken-katsu that doesn't taste as good the next day.

Preparation(準備)

Cook your rice. You can use the leftover rice water to water your plants after! 
- 
Cut the onions into thin slices. 
- 
Beat the eggs and set aside for later. 
- 
Mix the mirin, soy sauce, and MEMMI in a small bowl. 
How to make(つくり方)

- 
Sauté onions with olive oil on medium-low heat until wilted and soft. 
- 
Pour the mirin, soy sauce, and MEMMI sauce on top of the onions. 
- 
Cut your tonkatsu or chicken-katsu into strips and place them on top of the onions. 
- 
If you're using leftovers, let the tonkatsu cook until it's warmed up. 
- 
Pour in your eggs and let everything cook for 5 minutes without doing any mixing or stirring. Adjust the time depending on how hard or soft you like your eggs.
