Japanese Drinks
Drinks
One of Japan's most popular drinks especially during the summer months. You can get the "ready-to-drink" bottle or the concentrate. All you have to do is add 1 part カルピス to 4 parts water.
It used to be spelled Calpis in English but got changed to Calpico after a meme went around because everyone started to pronounce it inappropriately.
A popular drink among kids that you can find in any Asian market. There's a marble lodged into an opening and you need to use the cap to push it down.
Here's a video demonstrating how to open it.
Green tea with roasted brown rice. It's often served in restaurants for free.
Aquarius
Essentially Japan's Gatorade.
Steamed green tea.
Cold, roasted green tea. You can find this in any vending machine.
Pocari Sweat
It's like Aquarius but a bit sweeter.
Hot, roasted green tea. Often served at restaurants for free.
Cold, roasted barley tea. You can find this in any vending machine.
